Maldon Property Market Update - April 2022

Maldon Property Market Update - April 2022

It's time to look back at another month in the local housing market to see whether the market is finally seeing more available properties entering the market.

Are there finally signs of increased stock levels?

For the last few months it has been a common theme that the local market has seen a huge decrease of available stock. There are signs though that this could be changing with new listings up 6% in April compared to March.

When compared to April 2021 we are still 20% down on what came for sale the same time last year though.

I want to move this year but can't find. Shall I sell first?

It can be very hard to make the decision to sell, especially when there are no available properties that currently fit your search criteria. Are properties still selling?

In a word - YES! Looking at sales in April 2022 compared to the same period last month, sales are up 15%. There remains a strong demand for property in the Maldon district.
