Maldon Property Market Update - November 2021

Holden Estate Agents bring you the latest updates in the local property market during November. Here we take a look at demand from buyers and stock levels in the town.

What is happening in the Maldon housing market?

Buyer Demand

During November, we have seen a strong demand from buyers looking to agree a purchase on a property before Christmas. Interestingly, 82% of all our registrations this month so far are from proceedable buyers. This shows that buyers who are currently viewing properties are motivated to find and more importantly can buy when they find the right home.

Looking to buy in Maldon

If you are looking to move to Maldon, the first thing you need to do is register on our digital online mailing list! The best thing about this system is that as a buyer you will receive property alerts at least 24 hours before the advert hits rightmove. With demand levels remaining extremely high this is an invaluable tool to ensure you are at the front of the queue for our new listings!

New Listings in November

We have looked at the data provided to us by rightmove, and currently new listings in November 2021 are 22 % less than the same time last year. Whilst we do tend to expect the market to quieten down at this time of year our buyer data does suggest that if you have a house to sell now could be a great time to launch onto the market, to take advantage of the continued buyer demand in the town. Holden Estate Agents offer a choice of three property valuations (depending on your current position of how soon you are looking to sell) Click here to see which one is right for you!
